The following is applicable when applying for the postponement of an examination(s):

1. The student may only postpone the examination for a module they received a minimum class mark of at least 50%, - this is only applicable to the first examination to be written for a particular module, i.e. the first examination after completing the module;
2. the student may postpone their registration for an examination no later than seven calendar days prior to the examination period in question;
3. where a student has postponed their examination, they will automatically be scheduled to write said examination during the next examination period;
4. a student that applied to postpone the examination for a module, will not be granted an opportunity to write a second examination;
5. a student may only postpone an examination for a particular module ONCE;
6. should a student not officially postpone their registration for an examination, the mark obtained, being zero, will count towards the student’s final mark.
