2025 SAPHE Excellence Awards

Belgium Campus iTversity received multiple accolades at the 2025 South African Private Higher Education (SAPHE) Excellence Awards, held in Johannesburg. The event celebrates outstanding contributions to private higher education across South Africa, with a focus on teaching, research, and community engagement.

Project Lead – Internationalisation, received the SAPHE Excellence Award for Research and Innovation.

Prof Japie Greeff

Research Coordinator, was named First Runner-Up for the Research Excellence Award.

Jacqui Muller

Industry Coordinator, was recognised as First Runner-Up for the Community Engagement Excellence Award.

These achievements reflect Belgium Campus’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, impactful research, and meaningful community collaboration.

Belgium Campus iTversity participated in the highly competitive BRICS Skills Competition held in Guangzhou, China, with two staff members competing in the Data Analysis & Visualisation category.
