Counselling
Counsellors offer academic and emotional support through talk therapy. Sessions are 30mins to 1 hour long, where you and the counsellor will discuss whatever problems you bring, find causes thereof and collaborate on solutions.
Whenever you are struggling with anything in your life that is impairing your functioning (academic or otherwise) to a certain point, counselling will be beneficial. Else we will refer you to a professional psychologist.
Students can voluntarily book an appointment at any time. Counsellors will periodically reach out to students struggling academically, but these students are under no obligation to agree to these sessions.
Counselling sessions are 100% private and confidential – what’s discussed in this room stays in this room. The purpose of counselling is to create a safe space and a trusting relationship where students can open-up.
By directly contacting the counsellors or by booking a session by reception.
